Researching for your master's thesis in medicine 

Description You'll be given a short introduction to the most important medical literature database, PubMed (Medline). Working on the basis of your own topic you'll learn how the database is set up and what research possibilities it offers.

Reference management in your master's thesis in medicine (EndNoteWeb)

Description You'll be given a short introduction to reference management using EndNoteWeb, the web-based free version of EndNote.

  • Importing references
  • Inserting and managing bibliographic data

  • Inserting and formatting citations in text documents
  • Generating a reference list

Research for Healthcare Professions (Final Thesis) 

Description You'll get a brief insight into the most important information resources for healthcare professions (CINAHL, PubMed, and LIVIVO). Working on the basis of your own topic you'll learn how they're set up and what research possibilities they offer.

Target group Nursing and other healthcare professionals in training and continuing education (Kalaidos FH, CBZ, and USZ)
Requirement You already know the topic of your master's thesis and have a basic knowledge of research with PubMed and CINAHL
