Procedure

After your article is accepted, corresponding authors will receive an e-mail with a link to the Elsevier Rights and Access Portal (Workflow details (PDF, 3070 KB)). Please enter the 'University of Zurich' as the 'Corresponding Author's Organization'. If you wish to publish your article free of charge in Open Access, please select the 'Gold Open Access' option. Afterwards you have the possibility to choose between the  CC BY 4.0 or CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.

After the article has been accepted by one of the following RSC Journals, the submitting UZH author will receive an e-mail with the option to publish the article as Open Access. The choice of Creative Commons license is up to the researchers.

ScienceMatters

ScienceMatters is an innovative publication platform on which especially smaller interim scientific results (single, validated observations) can be published.

Before submitting an article to ScienceMatters, researchers must first register. Once an article has been submitted, the researcher's UZH affiliation is verified based on their email address.

Procedure After your article is accepted, corresponding authors will receive an e-mail with a link to the Springer Nature online process “MyPublication” (Author Journey Springer Nature (PDF, 1416 KB)). Please select the affiliation/institution "University of Zurich". This affiliation information will match to the Open Access agreement with the University of Zurich and further information appears which provides additional information on the Open Access agreement.
